What's in your Soul Contract reading
A foundational reading of the deepest points in your chart, and the single line that runs through them.
Where the monthly reading follows the changing sky, the Soul Contract reading does the opposite. It stays with the chart you were born with and reads its foundations — the points that describe not your year, but your shape. It is read once, and it tends to be re-read.
These are not the busy, fast-moving placements of a season. They are the slow, structural ones — the points astrologers turn to when they want to understand a life's deeper arc rather than its current weather.
What it reads
The North and South Nodes. The Nodes are not planets but two points where the Moon's path crosses the Sun's. The South Node marks what is familiar, practised, carried in from long habit; the North Node marks the less travelled direction, the growth a life seems set up to reach toward. Together they read like a sentence: where you have been, and where you are being drawn.
Chiron. Often called the wound that teaches, Chiron marks a tender place — a recurring ache — that, worked with rather than avoided, becomes a source of understanding you can offer others.
Saturn. Saturn is structure, discipline, and time. It shows where life asks for patience and earned mastery, and where the lasting things are built slowly rather than given freely.
Pluto. Pluto is depth and transformation: the area of life that undergoes real change, where you are remade through cycles of ending and renewal.
The Sun. At the centre, the Sun — the core self the rest of the reading is organised around, the thing all of this is in service of becoming.
The through-line
A list of points is not yet a reading. The Soul Contract reading closes by drawing them together into a single through-line — the one pattern that connects the Nodes, Chiron, Saturn, Pluto, and the Sun into a coherent shape. It is the part most readers return to, because it names something true in a way a list of placements never could.
Anchored to your chart
Every word of it is computed from your birth chart — your exact placements, in your exact houses — not a template fitted over a sign. That is why the reading asks for your full birth detail, the hour included: the Nodes, Chiron, Saturn, and Pluto each sit in a particular house, and the house is half the meaning.
If you have received a monthly reading, the Soul Contract is the deeper foundation beneath it — the chart's bedrock rather than its season. It is a calm place to begin, and a steady one to keep.
